Epoxy Floor Pros

Epoxy Floor Pros ("Contractor") provides this Full Lifetime Warranty ("Warranty") to the original residential purchaser ("Owner") for the epoxy floor installation ("Work") performed at the property address listed in the signed contract.

1. Scope of Coverage

For the lifetime of the epoxy coating, which under normal residential use is expected to be up to fifteen (15) years from the date of installation, Contractor warrants that:

The epoxy floor will remain bonded to the properly prepared concrete substrate.

The coating will not peel, blister, or delaminate under normal residential use.

The floor will maintain UV stability and resist yellowing or fading with the included UV-stable topcoat.

Moisture-related issues are covered, as this system includes a Moisture Vapor Barrier (MVB) to protect against hydrostatic pressure and vapor transmission.

This warranty provides full coverage for up to fifteen (15) years from the date of installation.

2. Remedies

If a covered defect occurs within the 15-year warranty period, Contractor will, at its sole discretion:

Repair the affected area, or

Recoat or replace the defective portion of the epoxy floor.

Contractor’s total liability is limited to the cost of materials and labor necessary to correct the specific affected area; no compensation for consequential or incidental damages is provided.

3. Exclusions and Limitations

This Warranty does not cover:

Structural Movement or Cracking: Settlement, shifting, or cracking of the concrete substrate or foundation.

Improper Maintenance or Misuse: Including use of harsh chemicals, neglect of recommended cleaning, or allowing standing water.

Physical Abuse or Impact: Damage from dropped objects, heavy equipment, vehicles exceeding normal residential weight, or abnormal wear.

Alterations or Repairs not performed or authorized in writing by Contractor.

Environmental Effects: Efflorescence, chemical staining (such as oil or automotive fluids), or normal wear and tear.

This Warranty is void if the Owner fails to maintain proper drainage around the structure or if new construction, landscaping, or remodeling introduces moisture problems or damages the slab.

4. Owner Responsibilities

Owner must:

Follow Contractor’s written care and maintenance instructions.

Maintain proper drainage around the structure and keep slab free from standing water.

Provide written notice of any suspected defect within 30 days of discovery, include proof of purchase and installation records along with clear photos of the affected area, and allow Contractor reasonable access to inspect and, if applicable, repair.

Failure to meet these requirements may void the Warranty.

5. Transferability

This Warranty may be transferred one time to a subsequent homeowner if requested in writing within 30 days of property transfer and approved by Contractor.

6. Disclaimer

This Full Lifetime Warranty represents the entire agreement for warranty coverage. All other warranties, express or implied—including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose—are disclaimed to the fullest extent allowed by law.

This warranty is designed for forever-home owners or property investors who want complete peace of mind with full protection—including UV stability and moisture coverage—for the lifetime of the coating.
